I decided to get out of my comfort zone a bit. That is what it is going to take for me to be successful and really make a go of this. I booked my first pop-up/vendor event. There were several right about the same time and it took me a couple of days to decide which one to do. A lucky thing for me is that there are not many Chloe + Isabel merchandisers in my area so I do not really have to worry about someone with the same company taking the spot. I went with a Christmas in July event on July 15 at the Plaster Center on PSU campus. I checked and there are 40 vendors signed up at this time so it should be a well attended event. Hopefully, I do well.
I have only been with Chloe+Isabel for a short time, but I am already impressed with what I am seeing. Since I started, I have been equipped with the training and resources to make my business successful. Though I have not completed all of the training yet, I have learned a lot so far. Something that is remarkable about Chloe+Isabel is the support that is given to the women entrepreneurs. The company talks about empowering women, and that is exactly what they do. Working in a male dominated field for the past twenty years in which women are often marginalized, I know how important this is, and how important it is for women to support other women.
